2016 has been a great year for the e-commerce industry. We have seen our customers thriving and our partners growing. Along the way, we have learned many important lessons and we want to thank you for helping us develop further.
We also celebrated 10 years of helping ambitious online retailers grow their businesses and to make the most of the fast-changing trends in the industry. It was a great honour and pleasure to celebrate this special moment with all our customers and partners.
We also upgraded our platform on all fronts, winning Best Product at the eCommerce Awards 2016 as a result.
Throughout the year on this blog we have shared a wealth of information to help you build a strong, competitive e-commerce business.
We talked about how to become great at purchasing in ecommerce, warehousing & operations, fulfilment & dispatch, using reporting and analytics for business growth, how to expand internationally and also improve customer service.
We’ve been by your side through the many industry shifts we have seen this year: from Brexit, to skyrocketing m-commerce transactions, from Amazon’s Seller Fulfilled Prime Program (SFP) to eBay’s new Seller Hub, as well as various peak days such as Easter, Father’s Day, Halloween, Singles Days, Black Friday and Christmas. And we look forward to the new challenges and opportunities the new year is about to bring.
We’re gearing up for when Amazon relaunches SFP and the way voice-powered devices such as Amazon Echo and Google Home are changing the way we live and shop.
We will also have a few pleasant surprises for you this year and we’re excited about starting new adventures on new marketplaces.
